To match colors it’s best to refer back to elementary school. Purple will work well with its color family-red hues that are closer to purple on the color wheel than orange, and blues that are closer to the color wheel than green. Purple also works well with yellow because it’s across from it on the color wheel. The thing about mixing and matching many colors is that if taken in their brightest form sometimes it can be too overwhelming.
